Owners: Ron and Follie Vanleeuwen
From doing oil changes together in their dating years to running an automotive business together in their married years, Ron and Follie are the ones behind it all. Ron has been in the industry for more than 30 years. Side by side the couple works together to take on the challenges of operating a transparent and professional business.
Ron and Follie have been married 25 years. They love to spend time together along with their wonderful family of 7 girls and 1 boy, whether it be relaxing at home or taking adventurous camping trips or taking the kids on ATV trips.
Shop Manager: Harm Dehaan
When your vehicle is in need of some TLC, Harm is the man with the plan.
Harm has more than 20 years of experience under his belt and, with his knowledge, will act as a spokesperson on behalf of your car. Harm gets excited about difficult fixes, he's great at explaining car issues, and he does his best to come up with affordable solutions.
Harm is not only passionate about his job, but also his family. Harm can often be found spending time ripping around on an atv or snowmobile, or anything with a motor and horsepower. He also enjoys camping with family and friends and spending quality time with his beautiful wife, Laurie of 15 years and his 4 kids.
Service Advisor: Frank Reinink
Questions or concerns about your vehicle? Frank is your guy!
Frank helps you prioritize the work that is needed on your vehicle. He is able to source parts for your vehicle no matter how tricky it can be! One of his favourite parts of the job is building relationships with coworkers and clients. When it comes to understanding your vehicle needs, Frank will be sure to walk you through everything!
Frank is a family man: he has a lovely wife with 4 children. On weekends he spends time at his country property doing yard work or spending time with friends!
Office Administrator: Breanne Vanderveen
If you’re giving us a call, you’ll likely talk to Breanne! Shuttle service? Breanne is on it! Breanne's not afraid to get her hands dirty. If she's not at her desk answering the phone, then she will be in the back with the guys helping them out!
In her spare time, Breanne loves to spend time outdoors with her husband, Bryan, kayaking, camping and hiking. Fun fact – Breanne owns goats. Not just any goats... the fainting kind!
Technician Foreman: Keegan Lodder
When it comes to fixing cars Keegan is your guy. He has been working in the industry for more than 20 years now. Keegan may be a goofy character, but there is no goofing when he's working on your vehicle. Other than fixing problems, Keegan really likes to do custom work.
He loves spending time with his lovely wife, Laura and their 4 children. While Keegan may seem a little quiet, he’s hardworking and determined. He’s also quite the outdoor adventurer, enjoying time camping, kayaking, biking and spending time on the ATVs.
Technician: Serge Vandenbeukel
At just the age of 14, Serge started working on weekends at a diesel truck shop and has been involved with vehicles ever since! He enjoys a challenge and a good day's work, followed by some quality time with his family in the evenings.
Serge spends a lot of time outdoors and likes to enjoy nature with his family and grandchildren. He appreciates the atmosphere at Ron’s Auto Service and spending time with his “adopted son, Tyler”. He also loves tinkering with computers and software. He even has his own personal software!
Technician: Tyler Gillis
“Outgoing, dog-loving, amazing, handsome and humble” is how Tyler would describe himself. Witty and fun, Tyler loves cars and has been in the industry for 3 years. He is bright and continues to grow in his knowledge and skills with vehicles.
Tyler gets along well with the rest of the team (especially Serge) and is convinced his car is faster than Ron’s. Maybe someday we’ll test that!
Technician: Zachery Ronson
Fun fact about Zach... he hiked from Guelph to Goderich. That’s roughly a 130km walk! Zach has been in the automotive industry for 8 years and collects junk vehicles to work on himself.
Pizza Wednesdays are a highlight for Zach at Ron’s Auto, and he’s convinced he’s “Serge’s best friend”. In his spare time, you can find Zach riding his bike or hiking with his wife and dog.
